Why the Serial Number Matters

Where to Find Serial Numbers on Common Baby Products

What to Do After Finding the Serial Number

Once you have the serial number, take a photo of the sticker with your phone. Then register the product using the QR code on the product or the manufacturer's registration portal. The serial number will be requested during the process.

Store your confirmation email somewhere you can find it. Many parents create a folder in their inbox labeled 'Product Registrations' or add a note in their contacts app with key product details.

• Photograph the sticker. If the label ever wears off or the product is re-sold, you'll have a record.
• Complete registration immediately. Don't let the serial number sit in your photos without acting on it.
